Yes. I am a provider for Aetna and Blue Shield of Texas. If you have Aetna or BCBS as your insurance, please send me a photo of your insurance card and your Date of Birth and I can let you know your patient responsibility for each session.

I am an out of network provider for any other insurance besides BCBS or Aetna. My cash rate fee (see above) would apply if you have another insurance provider.

Yes! You can use your HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) for counseling sessions.

Typically, we will work together for 10-12 sessions (on average).  If you are an EMDR client, we will typically meet a total of 6-8 sessions before the end of treatment. However, each person is unique and along the way, we will check in with each other and give mutual feedback on the counseling sessions to ensure that you are getting the best quality care.

The initial consultation is usually 90  minutes long, focused on gaining information and your goals for marriage counseling. The follow up session is typically 50 minutes long and is focused on providing you with a clinical treatment plan that is targeted on working on your relationship goals. All other subsequent sessions are typically 50 minutes long and consists on working on your goals with therapeutic models.

The first session is typically 60 minutes long and composed of understanding your goals for working on your trauma using EMDR. The second session is typically focused on discussing certain traumas (targets) to work on with the EMDR process. The subsquent sessions are typically 90 minutes long and are focused on targeting the trauma using BLS (bi-lateral stimulation) to de-sensitize and process the trauma in a therapeutic way.
